On our way to Nakuru for the CBYC program, Baba Gerald decided to stop in at a coffee plant. Sylvia and Becky stayed in the van, but the rest of us piled out to take a tour. We had a great time!

Seeing all the different stages that the coffee plants were in made me want to go home to the greenhouse and start transplanting!!! |

One ripe red berry... |

Inside where all the equipment was, it was dustier than dusty...so these face masks were actually great, even though they were a bit toasty... I think we needed ear plugs too!!! It was SO LOUD in there! |
 |
After the beans went through a series of machines and all sorts of processes, they were bagged up or ground. |
 |
It smelled so great at this end of the building...well, what small whiffs we were able to catch through our masks! |

On Saturday, we went along with the Bible School students to hike the crater...We didn't have much time, so only a few went the entire way to the top. Mandi and I had both hiked it before so we found a spot with a good view and sat down to talk :) |

Almost the entire group of students :) |

Micah, Dishon, Markus, and Wycliffe... the Beachy family left in Dec. and we miss them! |
