Drink more COFFEE :)

On our way to Nakuru for the CBYC program, Baba Gerald decided to stop in at a coffee plant.  Sylvia and Becky stayed in the van, but the rest of us piled out to take a tour.  We had a great time!

Seeing all the different stages that the coffee plants were in made me want to go home to the greenhouse and start transplanting!!!

One ripe red berry...

Inside where all the equipment was, it was dustier than dusty...so these face masks were actually great, even though they were a bit toasty... I think we needed ear plugs too!!!  It was SO LOUD in there!

After the beans went through a series of machines and all sorts of processes, they were bagged up or ground.

It smelled so great at this end of the building...well, what small whiffs we were able to catch through our masks!

Drinking the final product ... Gerald and Wayne

Keeping the driver alert and awake :) ;)

Test time!

Joshua Gingerich :)

On Saturday, we went along with the Bible School students to hike the crater...We didn't have much time, so only a few went the entire way to the top.  Mandi and I had both hiked it before so we found a spot with a good view and sat down to talk :)

Almost the entire group of students :)

Micah, Dishon, Markus, and Wycliffe... the Beachy family left in Dec. and we miss them!
